Well, I didn't want to sell, but we just don't have room for all the bikes until I build a mancave, and that ain't gonna be yet So, to the meat of it : Kawasaki KLX650 1995 Just over 20,000 miles Bored out to 678cc with a Wossner forged 102mm piston Dynojet kit and high flow air filter Dominator exhaust can - it's not quiet It's pretty scruffy, but has Maxxis dual purpose knobblies with less than 500 miles on and heavy duty tubes, and a new battery I've got a new choke plunger cap on order - it's a plastic piece that holds the choke plunger in, and I think the one on there is buggered I have a box of bits with it - a front wheel , left and right radiators and rad scoops and a spare fuel tank The plan was to strip it to the frame this winter , powder coat the frame and build a new loom, but I'm off to look at another bike tomorrow and this needs to go Passed an MOT on 03/11/2017 with two advisories - noisy exhaust and slight play in rear suspension. I rebuilt the shock linkage with all new bearings (at great cost, I might add) , so possibly the swingarm bearings If anyone's interested, I'll email pictures I'm after £600 , and that is negotiable but be warned I don't like pre-nibbled hob-nobs or boiled sweets that have been sat in a jacket pocket for the past 3 years. Would make a good project, and is good fun to ride for short distances (the seat is rock hard except right at the front) A warning, though - not suitable for those of a short stature. The seat is pretty high
