Hi everyone, I'm new here.
Just picked up a '96 600! It was cheap but there are a few issues that I hope I can get some advice on.
Firstly, on startup the camchain is audible but gradually quietens as she warms up. Is this normal, can it be rectified?
Next, it's difficult selecting gears. I've noticed the cush drive rubbers are kaput due to the clonk I heard while engaging the clutch and you can see the sprocket move so I've ordered a new set. Ive heard about the rattle they normally suffer from but mine squeals! No rattle but a squeal. Could this be the flat thrust bearing?
Any light shed on this would be really helpful. Thanks in advance. :-)
