From: TomMcQ_01 Sent: 4/25/2006 TTRider suddenly stopped working on Sunday. Just wouldn't switch on at all. Dead as a Monty Python Parrot!! Rang TomTom (took me AGES to find their number 0845 161 0009) and they told me to stick a paper-clip into the tiny hole at the bottom of the unit. That reset the unit and sure enough, it sprang back into life. Good tip for anyone who finds themself in a similar situation - keep a small paper clip in your TT case From: speighty581 Sent: 4/25/2006 Funnily enough, i always have a paper clip in tank bag for just that reason. 90% of modern technology seems to have a recessed reset switch that can only be operated with a paper clip... From: styler4077 Sent: 6/11/2006 Wifes TomTom Go 910 does the same, most of the time we think it's to do with the bluetooth connection. juts goes blank, but the paper clip does the trick all the time.
