Hey guys, my girlfriend is only 5 foot on a good day so am looking to lower the 600 div. I have sculpted the seat as much as i can without it getting uncomfy, have had an extra half inch on the bottom of her boots from a friendly cobbler but still need more. Has anyone used/fitted the MFW lowering kit? It looks like a direct replacement for the standard top collet but was wondering if the top mounting lug needs to be unscrewed and the thread recut. Any help would be great. And i have a fully equiped machine shop for my use if needed.

In that case I'm afraid I can't be any further help. I know nothing about MFW Lowering Kits. I do know a few tall lasses though.

I think they just bolt on , I had aquired a kit with some spares for my VRaptor but that has gone ,so they would fit the naked jobby, but I aint no short house, my legs are long 'no dicks disease there, its just the top bit is receding into the neck and shoulders, so instead of being 5' 10 and a half in my yoof, I am 5'8 and a half,( maybe taking nose dives off bikes over the years hasnt helped either) Surely if you Google bike make and kits available to lower, it would come up, as per usual, trumps.

No, the ones for the 600 don't bolt on. They are a disc with a deeper recess than standard. I have googled it that is how i know the manufacturer. I have made my own and fitted it, just waiting for seat to be recovered and see if the bike fits.
