In an ever futile attempt to recapture my lost youth I've brought a rather poorly Fantic TI. This was the first moped I ever owned at the tender age of 14. Looks like there may be some long evenings in the garage and on Italian eBay ahead

Looks like it's survived pretty well, they looked like that a week after arriving in the UK

You'll be running out of space! Looks a good basis for a resto, that one. Does the engine turn over??

Wow that brings back memories, I had the same moped only mine was bright green. Not the most reliable bike I have ever owned. The points needed attension every other day. It was quick though and left the SS50 and Fizzies in a cloud of smoke. It got stolen fron outside the college I was at and was found 5 months later in the canal, that back in the days the police informed you that your bike had been found. Will be keeping an eye on the thread to see how it comes along. Good luck finding parts for it as they were hard to come by when in production.

Interesting project. Looking forward to reading about this one.
I have to sell the D9 before I start my next project. No room.
Though I might completely strip the GS850 and give it the full job.
