Tried the mods as listed.......
"Turn off Radio: Press and hold CH and SET and then turn on the radio. You need to press and hold these buttons some 4 seconds to open the radio to manual mode
Press SET, and choose what you want to change.
a: Item 1 is frequency, best to leave alone b: Item 2 is low power, under lcd you will see LP c: Item 3 is medium power, under lcd you see MP d: Item 4 is high power, under the lcd you will see HP e: Item 5 is for CTSS adjustment
Press UP and DOWN button to adjust manually. You need to press PTT and UP/DOWN to adjust the power output."
Got the radio into Manual mode, but can't seem to get the "H" in the window.
When I get onto the HP setting, I get 99 listed as a sub number.......where do I go from there?
The PTT + UP/DOWN doesn't seem to work. All this is tried when 12v are used......will battery power make a difference to the options? The Bar-graph power indicator is indicates full output on Tx, not low power as shown in the manual.
Rgds,
Neil

A double-post that answers my own question........ My A80 is an LP4502-E model, which Intaride just purchased in with the LPD channels programmed too.......... Following a flash of inspiration (doesn't happen often) I tried the other mod listed on the site: "Channel Expansion to open up for LPD Press PTT and SET at the same time and turn radio on, now is in 69channels LPD mode with the same 2 watts output. Reverse the process to return to the 446 band. " Turns out my radio was shipped in LPD mode - using the mod above switched it over to PMR446! I now have the ever so important "H" indication in the display and the power adjustment works fine. All is well in my little world again ;D Neil
