A day of mixed riding conditions, expertly led by Bob. Plenty of filthy bikes, but mostly a dry day, early fog abating. Many thanks to run leader Bob, & to Adrian, Andy & Ian for the additional company & cake buying experiences . We momentarily lost Ian right near the end of the run, but he's now safely supping tea at mine. I trust everyone else gets home in good time, & dry. Thanks for coming out to play today chaps .

I found out where the fog went - on the downs on my way home!!
Thanks to Bob and Martin for arranging - good day out. And apologies to Ian for missing the junction he was marking - but we recovered.
Look forward to the nezt run
Cheers
Andy

Many thanks to the hardy bunch who braved the fog, rain and mud to make this run. Apologies to Martin for not checking ahead that there would be enough apple pie at the afternoon stop.
Ian - I hope you're not getting too damp going through the band of heavy rain that right now seems to be over Lancs/Ches - or with any luck you've cleared it by now.
Just finished hosing off the bike (for the third time in a week - a record for me). That's not to say it's actually clean, just that the worst of the muck and filth have been transferred as a slurry onto the garden path. I'll have to see if I can borrow a shaftie for these events - more than half our runsters were so mounted. My poor old chain's not looking too happy, but I've cleaned it off and hopefully a good dose of oily stuff will help to resuscitate it.
Photos to follow, I hope, courtesy of Andy.

Martin looks disgruntled...shines bike tarnished? No, it's because the rest of us scoffed all the apple pie while he was having a fag!
