Um, is there likely to be a WWW 2017?? I only ask 'cos the Griff is still £38/night so would be good to book soon. I realise someone needs to organise it and I'm happy to take on any 'admin' but I'm too far away to arrange a route. Any thoughts folks?? Andy P.S How many more posts do I need to make to get above 'Harley Rider'

Andy P.S How many more posts do I need to make to get above 'Harley Rider' There is nobody above a Harley Rider, they are the cream of the cream, the rest of us are not worthy to share the road or terms 'Biker' or 'Motorcyclist' with them. Even the new aloof (well not so new nowadays) BMW file cabinet transporters are not in the same league.

Andy, your magic number is 13!
I found the experience of running last year's WWW at times very challenging personally, & whilst I put my best foot forward, I suspect that fact may have been apparent at some times over the weekend. Any such outward show will have been very much less than I was feeling inside - I found it very tough at times.I'm in a much better place now, but don't pretend to be fully 'sorted'. So whilst I'd love to be part of another WWW, I won't put myself forward as run leader.
If someone would like to take it on, that would be great. I'd be happy to play second fiddle & help with route practices, stop suggestions, or such like.
Martin.

WLTM tall skinny four-eyes sort for mutual fun & alarm call for breakfast. Good luck with your search, meanwhile.....keep the bed warm for an outdoor loving, athletic type who's willing to learn the ins and outs of southern hospitality

Griff is currently at £53 for the Saturday night. Prob best to book soon, if you haven't already, if you plan on coming along & want to stay here, where the Saturday night meal will be The nearby Travelodge is advertising £33 cheapest rate at the moment. It's a 15 minute walk, I guess. Two minutes by taxi. (I personally wouldn't recommend the much closer Holiday Inn Express - which is currently dearer than the Griff anyway.)

The Travelodge was OK but lacking in facilities, better to be where you want to be.
