Don't seem to be able to get my head around this. I have downloaded and saved from Pocket GPS the variety of speed camera warning they offer but am not sure which one I need to install. I have tried several times and seem to have installed some of the cameras, but not all as the two within a mile of where I live do not show even though these cameras are shown on the map I have downloaded from Pocket GPS.
I have unistalled the base maps ans reinstalled them and tried the map overlay several times but without joy. It also seems to store the camera locations within 'My Locations' on the Garmin, is this right?.
Really now confused, anyone with an idiots guide to doing this, please talk me through it.
Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian
IIRC the files should be saving under POI. Andf I think the files for a Garmin all end in .gpx I may be wrong but have you downloaded the latest POI manger from the Garmin site? This may help. Sorry I can't offer any more help.

Ian,
From my experience:
POIs may not show if you are not zoomed in enough. You can change this in the settings, but then you get lots of details shown (like every POI).
When loading the maps to the unit, you have to load the safety camera map and the cityselct (or whatever) at the same time. To do this, select the safety camera map as if you are going to download it, but before downloading also select the garmin map to download also.

Hi, Ive got the i3, As the other poster suggested, download the latest up loader from the Garmin site, then downloaded the latest poi for speed cams, in my case it was simple using the up-loader, it simply overwrites the old poi file on the satnav. no issue with not seeing the cameras, or gfx. If you want to know where the speed cam poi files are contact me, its a site i subscribed to.
good luck
