So I am guess this will have been covered in the forum somewhere I tried Searching but found only some slight info of which I need. I have a an xj900 (of course haha) but no back brake...this is after replacing the disc, caliper and pads just to find out my master cylinder is completely gone. I am in the need of a new one, I have looked on ebay but they are all used and do not wish to take the plunge I would prefer a new one or one that has new washer and circlip as that is where my issue is...The piston head now is not stopped by the washer as its rusted and broke. And a refurbish is not doable on this cylinder as the wash and clip are now part of the cylinder its self,. Please could someone tell me the brembo model or point me to a link. Thank you so much for looking and helping

Yamaha used the same master cylinder on several models, differences tended to be reservoir and Link hose length, or the bridge that fits to the brake pedal, So if the basic body looks the same then it probably is, even though it may have a different code, the bridge and hose, master cylinder can be swapped about, This for instance looks right, though I don't have a D9 to check, www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-FZS-1000-Fazer-Brembo-rear-brake-master-cylinder-4BP-2583V-01-FZ1-XJR-XVS-/152189753500?hash=item236f37589c:g:6wYAAOSwhOdXn3MFInterestingly it has a diversion code, even though it is off a Fazer
