Well I rolled it in glitter. Still a bit to do though, change the disks, do the brakes etc.

Starting to look good. Ok you have proven your point. You can still do it. And I take full responsibility for the snapped disk bolts 😅.
P.s. Did you say somewhere in this thread that the gs 850 is mine? Thanks 😉

Thanks 😉 I appreciate your admission that the disk bolts were you but lets be honest you only broke the first one Allan broke 1 and I broke the other, team effort.
You can join the queue for the gs 850. Though I might utilize your OCD for a bit of polishing if I ever get around to doing it.

Ah well a weekend of drilling out disk bolts beckons. I don't envy you that - interested to hear of your success / failure as I've never had a good time drilling old bolts out.

If anyone was wondering the drilling was postponed due to a riding opportunity at the weekend. Might try next weekend, too damn cold at the minute.

Wow credit where due( chews on chunks of broken glass)you certainly have made a very nice job of the Divvy. Just a bit of a shame you hadnt invested in some of Satnav's grey paint to set the swing arm off.

I have recently discovered that drilling the disk bolts out is a complete barsteward. I have one almost drilled out. I've burnt out several Hi-Co drill bits. I can think of better pastimes.

No surprise here either to be honest, I did heat them up in an effort to make them softer and make them come out easier. This was a failure.
Even with heat and impact all 6 sheared. PITA.

I know, that silver is so last year, and I've plenty of the grey left - it need not have cost him a penny (ideal for Caledonian folk).
