Well what a cracking day out. Great roads, brilliant weather and all spent with some of the best people I have or will ever know. Was weird having a 4 wheeled back marker as the first leg showed but soon got used to it. Well done Naomi. Some good driving to keep up but 10 MPG in that Fiat ABARTH is astonishing. You were the ONLY one in fear of running out of juice from your 7 gallon tank LOL. Well done Martin on a great route on unfamiliar territory. Even the 3 mile back to where we started out of Shckerstone. Watching Mac do a double take and scratch his helmet made me chuckle. Thanks for a great day out guys and bring on the JR16!!!!

Thankyou Martin and Naomi for all your hard work. Brilliant weekend good to see everyone again. Roger would have been proud. Typical with the whether we moan when it rains then it's too hot when the sun comes out See you all again

Debs and I made it back OK following a really enjoyable weekend.
Thanks to Martin and Naomi for their efforts and to all that attended.
Apologies for the weather at the Saturday stop and disappearing off on our personal mid section on the Sunday run.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at JR16

Many thanks to Martin and Naomi for organising and leading the run this weekend. Excellent route today, but just too hot! Wore winter bike gear as was expecting a storm on way up last night, but somehow avoided it. Seems taking the linings out today didn't help much! Sorry that I baled on the 'wrong turning ciggie stop', I hadn't realised that you can get 'bike unfit' but I was really tired and rusty, and with 100 miles to get home thought I had better call it a day. Had a nice sedate run back via A5 and A413, with a drink and sandwich (no queue ) in the shade at Tesco petrol station in Buckingham! Thanks to Padster for letting me share your rooom Great to see everyone as usual, and some great reminiscing in the bar last night, then the journey through the hedges to McDonalds at stupid o clock Sorry to have missed Gaynor and Andy, Beebs and Laraine through arriving late. Hope everyone else arrived home ok. Until next time ... Dave

Great weekend with some great folks. Wog would have loved it, well done to Naomi and Martin. Got the scars to tell a tale too, not not biking scars, but a chunk out of my finger when I fell over the fence on the midnight excursion to maccadees Know what Fi means about bike fit though, I'm knackered! Good to see old friends again, thanks all.

Can I just add my thanks for a great day out with great company ideal weather (if a little warm at times) and some cracking roads. Seeing as I had the route in my Satnav most of the time I was lost as acording to it we were of track. Don`t think anyone noticed or even cared. Well done to Naomi and Martin you did us proud and Rog would have loved it. You were right Matt the A5 was way quicker than the motorway, thanks for the tip. See you again soon. Paul & Loz

I'm back home, bit knackered, but very pleased to have spent the weekend in such good company. Was so good to see Laraine on Saturday night, & our back-marker too - though I agree with Laraine that the pudding that night deffo' wasn't split 50/50! Thanks Mac for the Saturday bimble - especially the perfect timing to avoid that deluge . Sunday breakfast was great - thanks Naomi for arranging it, & leading us there & back . Your excellent back-marking duties in a car too . Your dad would have been chuffed that you maintained the family tradition! The main Sunday run I managed to include some of Roger's fine stops, & some of the roads too. Though I think I put my own special "it's not a u-turn, it's a regrouping" spin on it - Surely nobody noticed . Thanks everyone for making the weekend what it was - jolly good fun in good company & I think a fine tribute weekend to a sorely-missed friend.

What everyone else said and more. This was the first run for Andy and me for nearly two years and, like Fiasco the body was giving gyp when we reached the lay by stop before the train. I don't know weather it was down to being out of practice or getting too old for it, so sorry for peeling off early. We went on the last train ride to ease off before the ride home so everything worked out perfect. Mega thanks to Martin for organising the run as there was a really good mix of everything and it was really good of Naomi to do the back marking in the car. I thought it was a really nice touch as Wojer was Divvy club royalty as well as a super bloke and he really would have been proud that the connection carried on in such a great way. It was good to see everyone still in fine fettle and we promise to work out a date and route for a Derby run asap, and hope some of you can make it.

Just adding my thanks to Martin, Naomi & mac for organising the weekend, some good riding - even though I peeled off early to head south. Good to put some faces to the names on the board.
Thanks folks.

Many thanks to Martin and Naomi for organising this and keeping Rogers triple W run going. It is very much appreciated. A brilliant weekend in brilliant weather. Great to see everyone. John and I had a fantastic ride home along Fosse Way then up through the Peak District. Thanks again everyone.

Great seeing everyone at the weekend, me and my sister had a great time, tired when we got home, it was a long and dull ride home, especially as the A591 through the lake district is still closed, still it had to be done, and will be done again in Scotland, many thanks to the organizers, I have to admit I took it very easy on the run, a combination of having the other half on the back and it being the first run I have attended since our friend passed away, I was glad my other half was with me, it kind of kept me focused, and gave me less time to dwell, a great weekend though! I was very jealous of Mr tracer man, I was meaning to sneak a sit on it, but left that a little late

Interestingly( for me) as I go on the Piaggio X9 OC again following the purchase of another Aprilia Atlantic, who does the X9 in the lineup belong to?

Ok so a case of mistaken identity the silver bike next to the Beemer looked like one, with whatever is draped over it, obscuring the tank , on my I pad. I suspect by the icon pic it's posted in its actually a 1300 Yammie, wadaa mistakea ( )to a make.

My thanks too. To Naomi, for managing to keep up so well, despite the trailer-loads of poo that Martin had obviously organised with the local farming community, and for spotting me looking (in vain) for petrol in the closed filling station near the end. To Martin, for putting it all together and for great company on the ride home. And to all the runsters for their great company - can there be a better bunch of people anywhere?

Thanks to you all for a great Sunday out. This was our first club run since last year's WWW and we really enjoyed it.
Roger would have been really pleased to see how many of his old mates turned out. Roll on the next one.
Thanks again
