There's nothing I know of from a 1998 600 Divvy that suits an older pre-Divvy like yours, Gav .

Well after what Martin said not sure anything will be interchange. To be honest I found after the brakes went to mulch just like they did on my D9 , I found to cut a long story short one side ,as suspected ,was leaking and investigation proved the right calliper wasn't even connected properly, so I just hooked it up to the left side so only that disc was working , however I needed to get somewhere in a hurry and found the brake lever was hard the previous day had about an inch of travel the next day, but I used the bike anyway for the short but even so too late trip. Next morning bright and early , me not so bright but after a barley peacefull two hours sleep, I went out and took the cheap remote master cylinder off despite it was freezing, and replaced it with the original unit which the top of the master cylinder Philips screws welded( rusted in ) bled it from the the calliper bleed nipple with my ever trusty syringe to draw air out then pump fluid back in by degrees till the lever hardens, and four weeks later and used on a dozen bikes brakes, Sorry getting long winded again, however I wondered if the single disc wheel fork and yolks fit into the existing headstock as on some Aprilias ( I am a big fan of them) aren't always interchangeable as I explained to a young lad with a similar Mille to mine, who said I was too old to be riding one, but he wanted a more upright riding stance due to a bad back, ha younguns canno hack it, Taking my Futura this week to Great Bentley to show him . Anyways obviously the single disc on a Divvy 600 is bigger in diameter than the twin ones on the XJ, and that actually helps upsprung weight, so that was my thinking.MOT due they ain't gonna pass it if only one calliper up front is connected . On the other hand I have a spare XJ type wheel, but no wavy discs the right size, or calliper so that don't need overhauling, and to be honest have so many old bike projects on the go might just do as you and parts it off too.
