Easy job, no need to drain the oil. But I'd suggest filling the cooler with oil before connecting the pipes, so the engine isn't starved for too long when you start it up. See my remarks about taking care when doing up the connections here: diversionclub.proboards.com/thread/23338/servicing-hints-tipsHi, I have got the new cooler fitted, took me 2 1/2 hours. I took my time as I have never done this work before. There were no problems at all apart from finding it fiddly to get the new one in place. All good now.. Thanks for the help..

Glad to hear it.
Hope you didn't get too cold doing it. I did an hour or so's work outside this afternoon and it's taken me until now for my feet to warm up again!

Glad to hear it. Hope you didn't get too cold doing it. I did an hour or so's work outside this afternoon and it's taken me until now for my feet to warm up again! Luckily my landlord went away so took his new car out of the garage so I could work in there. It was windy & freezing here Saturday morning. It would have been a nightmare doing it outside.
