Hi Martin
Hoping I can remember how to ride my bike (last journey of any significance was Roger's funeral) and come over for Sunday. I haven't got round to booking an overnight stop, so will head up early Sunday morning.
Looking forward to getting together in the name of a great chap.
Dave

Martin has persuaded me I need to get out of myself and do something like this, plus folk dicking me about over my Brace of Aprilia 1000s when the last thing I needed was being pished about, even though I bought a 500 scooter and ironically the same village I stayed in March Cambs within a couple of weeks, found myself in the self same vicinity, to collect anotherVirago engined Sachs. The idea to use bits off it to complete the Suzy engined one, then use the VTwin and oust the Rotax engine in the Red Rose and Bing in the VTwin and have a cut price HarleyAlike cruiser. Anyway what with that and a 600 mile round trip to Whitby, towing a racing dinghy back, then an even longer 800 mile one in 2 days in the car, should be able to do the Midlands metaphorically standing on my head. I went th Great Bentley last evening again, and it had been out and about in the sunshine earlier,my little Scimitar topless just like a Vitesse I had rarely was the top up, as well as getting the gears sorted out on the Yam 600, however by the time I came home and had a real blast on the Mille listening to the thunder out the exhausts, I couldn't feel my hands,so if I do decide to go for my Pacemaker Defibrilator to Basildon tomorrow on the Yammie, will get the heated grips sorted on it. Had to wait 3 quarters of an hour to get into their car park last time, and as a softie southerner(not) the cold at least nullifies my athritic hands and the partial use of the right arm hand , however the thawing out process is still painful.

You worry too much, you only live once, get your arse out and enjoy the Forum and the weekend out. Sadly I have to miss it, which I sorely regret, but it's unavoidable.

Dave In mitigation I have offered to buy you a beer more than once, but being a lightweight Southerner you'd already surpassed your two halfs of Lager limit and were needing carried home.

I don't drink these days ( Scotch Whisky chasers _or any spirits ! real or imagined, were always my downfall when mixed with wine or beer, so already being a payed up member to the Southern Softie and old fart affiliates, and latterly Apparantly apro po of mention of a 140 cc Sachs Madass, which I didn't aquire, a cheating git to boot. that said the Sachs 125 VTwin, I just bought for bits and bobs for the 650 Roadster, tanks and some panels interchangeable, might find its Virago engine in one or the other Aprilia 125 frames outing the Rotax job/s, both in the spirit of the toddler, or is it totgers run ( apologies its fiddlers)we are not discussing ,to keep that b Mod off of my back about wrongly placed posts , will probably attend on my Futura. thinking on yours truly buying yon guys any drinks, as one needs all the available dosh going to spend on bikes cars and boats is a no go . I went for my final Defibrilator tweaking today ,in the sweet running but for sale Viva, was gonna go on the Yam as its MOT runs out soon and may be confined to the garage, but the drafts in the old Vauxhall are a bit akin to open air motoring but at least I stayed dry, just like what I have been drink wise, nye on 25 years. My next appointment is a virtual one where they just discuss the data downloaded . Perhaps that can be mapped into the Viragaprilia joined through a Power Commander 3 booster so as one will not only be the oldest swinger in town but the fastest on a 125.!? ??
