I know its Narth' of the border but hey give the guy a chance, he has lost over a stone, and I am trying my hardest to do likewise(despite the odd small battered sausage, which M40 man was inciting another to make an inuendo out of. Aint easy for us big(all round speaking personally)blokes. Good job this outfit isnt nearer. The last time I saw an automatic Dream, it was in a garage up in Great Yarmouth, sans a sidecar, when I hired a van to go pick up my first Aprilia Red Rose also therein.

Great I hope you do and dare one say maybe being an automatic might help, you could probably sell the sidecar shell and fit a base for your mobility scoot. Who knows someone might well be looking for a better one, on their combination. I have sold boat hulls on that basis, but obviously not for attatchment to motorcycles. Good Luck.

cheers Gav I am having a think about it the problem being the cost of the train fare Idealy I only wanted the side car or chassis as I have a motoguzzi V65 sp to fit it to but I have always fancied a hondamatic.

I have to admit I thought about it, it would be a bit different.
Gromit* said she wouldn't get in a sidecar though.
* I'm dead if she reads this.

Good job its not nearer, as I would be tempted to put in a cheeky offer myself, not that I would need room for a Wullie(whatever that might be?)just room to house yet another project is not at a premium! Maybe better to keep a lookout for a seperate sidecar, but then you would have to get it home.

I gave it serious thought but it's just not practical to go all that way and attempt to ride it back as you say it's an unknown bike although I looked at prices to fly to Glasgow £37 as apposed to £128 by train how can that be ? it makes no sense that you can fly for that and yet the train is nearly 4 times the price this is the reason Labour nationalised them in the first place as the private company's were holding us to ransom the same with gas and electric still I suppose it will have to get worse before it will get better !when nobody but the rich can afford to travel and heat their homes etc the rest of us might get of our complacent arses and do something ( sorry for the rant,Mr bitter and twisted,Bedford ) PS still looking for a sidecar Mick
