Hi Guys need a bit of help. Has anyone tried to fit a 6in- wide wheel into the back of an XJ 600 Divy. This will give me the ability to use a 180 section rear tyre instead of 130. I might have to get the Sprocket carrier and wheel spacers machined down. Just wanted to know if any body has tried this as the back wheel on the Divy is 130/70/18. I would prefer a bigger back wheel .
Cheers Mel.

I reckon you'll struggle fitting a 6 inch wheel into the XJ600 swing arm. If you change the swing arm, then you'll probably have to get a one off front sprocket made to allow correct alignment to the rear sprocket, then obviously you would have to factor in a suitable rear brake. You may struggle to find a suitable swing arm in the first place, but by all means please try, then post lots of pictures.
Good luck.

I thought it was an FZR600 18 inch rear wheel which fitted, not a 17 inch Fazer 600 wheel, but i could be wrong.

All homo erotic jokes aside guys, I'm awaiting an fzr 400 18" x 4" from the postman. It has a 160 60 18 tyre on. Do you reckon it'll be too wide to fit safely?

Tyre widths do vary from one manufacturer to another, and even between different models from the same manufacturer. So there's really only one way to find out.
