I have a Diversion xj600s. We've rebuilt her from the ground up. Replacing many parts. We are now at the end of the rebuild and when testing the indicators, we've found that the front and rear lamps flash with the indicators. We've checked for a bad earth and everything seams to be OK. Would anyone know what the problem could be?

Dunno, The lights are not connected in any way to the indicators, other than the frame or negative connection, Have you tried running a temporary earth to the back and front lamps, Then to each indicators, The indicators run through the fuse box to the flasher unit, then to the switch gear, then left or right depending on where the switch is!

Unless you have a short or an incorrect connection between the circuits somewhere in the loom the problem is almost certainly an earth fault. Earthing faults are the most common reason for misbehaving lights. Often you will find a single earth connection for a lamp cluster, if that connection is high resistance power will take the next easiest route to earth. That may mean the power going back up the interconnected earth wire to another bulb in the cluster through it, down the interconnecting wire to the other end of the bike, through the bulb and finally down to earth there. Good luck
