I'll be along. Somewhat depending on my support driver's plans, will hopefully be Saturday & Sunday participation, so will confirm nearer the time. I think a Friday night stopover is essential for an early start on the Saturday!

I plan to be there but my tow bar support team has just blown the Turbo on his car. No way I'm riding down on the 100cc I'd need a week off work.

I think a Friday night stopover is essential for an early start on the Saturday! Looking forward to this. We are booked into the Broughton Craggs Hotel on the Friday night and the Premier Inn Scarborough on Saturday. Will ride some of the return journey Sunday but start for home around 1-ish. Not leaving anything to chance on this one. Bringing a support van & driver along with mechanic with previous for caging spares in times of breakdown.

100cc shouldn't we be staying away from anything remotely resembling a hill ?

Unfortunately the C50 is going to be a long term WIP. So Suzuki GP100 for me. Though I still think I should beef up the shockies. What's everyone else riding ? or is it a secret ?

I suspect you will be the fastest, closely followed by Martin! I myself cannot confirm what I will be riding, as the fs1e, is still not finished!

Right I have decided that I am not gonna be totally ruled by health issues unless they start ruling me,and by the time the run takes place they will have done the Cardio Version(boost charge the old ticker). I have really wanted to do the tiddler run, since the purchase of a now sold on Divvy 900 connected yours truly to this excellent site. but after deciding to refurb my old 650 Sachs, the Aprilia took its place in the shed along with two other potential competitors, the Honda 70 engined road able pit bike and c90 that is a world away from being put back on the road.
The 125 Aprilia had its engine rebuilt Eons and light years back but needs a new rear tyre and seat. So being a serial bike mad buyer I have bought another, which I won't collect from Nottingham(that's how serious I am about it)till after the guy returns from Holiday.
Is this within the spirit of the rules which I understand say 125s are eligible only if pre owned before January 2015? You seemed to approve some other Classic stuff in that context, and quite frankly Red Roses are like Rocking Horse ***t
I really don't want the physical effort of pulling all the stuff out of the little shed and swap bits onto the original Red Rose, the bike owned the longest out of the 8 in the fleet, particularly as this one is currently MOTd.
Anyway thought I'd better check before signing on the sheet

Anyway thought I'd better check before signing on the sheet If you declare the 125 as owened before January, then it will be within the rules, scruterneering will involve beer and piss taking the night before, but there will be no requirement to check V5's for ownership dates, So you can either declare it owned before the january or put 100cc stickers on it, Understand though that you could theoretically do the run on any bike, as could anyone, we don't have the ability to stop anyone, however if your on the fastest bike, then you will have to wait for the slower ones at times, or you will be on your own!

Not a very good fibber, that's why I thought better be up front, and a non drinker these days,so will accept the inevitable pee taking and just keep quiet in the beer sodden revelling about the length of ownership( had considered swapping the number plates briefly for the scruterneering, but knowing my luck there would be a passing cop car doing check ups of reg number recognition) Oh and I would sooner follow someone on the fond hope they would have a better idea of where they are going than be out front lost on the moors out of 2T

Not quite sure myself, somehow I managed to edit it. Oh no you didn't . That 'Admin' bloke sorted it out a bit - & now this bloke has removed your duplicate (copy) of the original, so there is only one table to update - else it could get a bit messy . ..... I trust that Ian can edit his post which quotes your copy. If not, I'll do it.
