Vaughan I would like to thank you for a cracking day out, just sorry that you missed it yourself. If we had a check list Good Weather - Check Good friends/company - Check Great roads - Check Fantastic scenery - Check Lots of bends and quite a few hairpin ones at that - Check Stupid sheep wandering across the road- Check Great day out guys, weather was bad before we started out to Ravens cafe but cleared up just in time. Then from the Cafe onwards it just got dryer and brighter as the day went on. Thanks to Roger for leading the first part and to the trusty back markers Andy and Bob. Beast that GS really suites you and you look like you have taken to it. Had a great day and can`t wait to get out again, oh me and the good lady are of work for 2 weeks so wont have long to wait.

Yep - a terrific day out ! Thanks to Vaughan for an inspiring route and to Paul, Dave, Bob, Fern, Andrew, Brian and Phil for company today.
It's been a while since I ran round N. Wales but now I remember why I like it so much - little traffic (except Bank holidays), entertaining roads and terrific scenery. Add in some good friends and you have the perfect recipe for a great day out - thanks all.

Looking forward to it Paul, hopefully the few who pulled out will also come along.
I'll keep you posted, I'm off to the Docs at 10am, and expecting anti inflammatorys and rest to be prescribed!
Cheers Vaughan

Thanks to Paul and Roger for leading the run. Thanks to Bob Roger & Andy for the back marking. No, I didn't lead and back-mark at the same time I'm good - but not THAT good ! only after the recce i tweaked it a little. Truth be told... we tweaked it a little as well We diverted to A & D motorcycles at Denbigh for coffee (local knowledge) And to the Bala Railway for ice creams later (ElBandito's knowledge) But otherwise we stuck religiously to your instructions route
