If no interest here, will be on Ebay shortly. 25% of the sale price will be donated to Roger's Fund. Coming due for a service, though oil & filter changed & new rear tyre before the Jock Run, air filter checked & blown through at the same time, Oxford heated grips, Yamaha top box & rack, side supports for soft panniers, 12 volt power for satnav / phone. New chain (gold X-ring) fitted before the Jock Run too. Swingarm replaced because the original had suffered corrosion where a hugger had rubbed on it. Mileage is just over 23,000. Will consider part-ex for mid to large capacity shaft drive bike of a touring or sports/touring persuasion, badged as a 900 Diversion . Some pics to whet your appetite are here, though many will have seen the bike on runs anyway. PM me if you have an interest, guide price is somewhere over £2000. s165.photobucket.com/user/m40man/library/XJ6%202009?sort=3&page=1(Seems to be a few Jock Run 2015 pics in there too !) Location: Near Wantage, south Oxfordshire.

Selling too cheap. My opinion anyway. Unless somewhere over £2000 is considerably over. Bump it up and tell them it was a typo. I got more than that for a 16 year old Guzzi California. If I didn't have the 1250 I'd snap that up at that price. Even if it did come from the emporium.

Shut up...fool! Bump it up and tell them it was a typo. He can't now, we have the editing power, well he could, but it will be a battle of editors

Well if I'd been in the market for one I'd have pointed out how much it will cost to put right the servicing. No, I'd have given him the asking price and that doesn't happen often. (of course since I'm not buying it you only have my word for that ) Lets be honest here, it's too cheap, and he's giving 25% to Roger's fund. I think it would still be well priced at £2500.

Carol's '58 Hornet is on ebay for £2995 A better bike (IMHO), but older, so I'd suggest that the Diversion could be worth around the same (Having said that, the Hornet isn't selling - yet)

My mate Orson might well be interested - it's just what he is looking for. Don't hold your breath but I'll see if I can catch him and let him know.

Good luck with the sale.
I would expect this to achieve around the £2k mark, most bidding on ebay occurs during the last minute.

Yes, well done Martin. You always said Ebay is a good place to find an items true value. And the winning bid is probably about right. Having said that it is a very tidy bike - and there are some proper dogs out there. Finally, I think it is a brilliant gesture on your part - the air ambulance donation -

I still think it went too cheap. Some of the shite that's selling for that up here is amazing. I'm down South next weekend, picking up a car Dave bought on Ebay, much cheaper down there.

Do you want to collect a Divvy 600 while you're down here? Well done on your sale Martin, and staggering donation for Roger's fund

Do you want to collect a Divvy 600 while you're down here? I think it might be a bit difficult riding a bike and driving a car at the same time. I have enough trouble just riding a bike. There's also no way I'm trailering another bike that distance. Took forever last time.
