The rex ignition wire at the 2 way connector under the tank has dissolved in a furry mass of green and it left me dead at the side of the road on Thursday. Now that I have found the fault and these connectors need to be ordered over the web, my question is:-

I have classic bullet style connectors that I can replace it with. Will these be up to the ignition amperage?

You can chop it out & splice in new wires with zero ill effects.
