Hi I have a h.i.d kit , I want to know do I have to remove the fairing to replace the bulb? as I carn,t see a way of getting to the back of the light,

Tried an led unit, and gave up on mounting with fairing on. Could probably be done, but faster to just take it off.
The lightbeam was to intense with the shape of headlight, couldnt get it down so far that i didnt blind meeting cars like cyclops without his goggles on, so had to take it off again.
Worked on my old cb 900, works on my 640, but not on the divy.

The D900 bulb is awkward to get at but an HID should be no worse. However you need the type with a shutter or moving burner bulb To get more light down the road you would be better with a pair of narrow angle LED spots with main beam and some wide angles with dip. Then use an LED centre con bulb in the headlight. The output is rubbish but that's what the spots are for. All done for £50 n
