Most of the recommendations here for Div 900 tyres are a couple of years old, and things have moved on a lot in the intervening period. My 900 has Bt-021s on, which overall I've been very happy with both wet and dry, but rear needs replacing now. So - BT-021s? -023s? -30s? Any others worth considering?

I like the Maxxis touring tyres (m6029). Good wet 'n dry grip, very good price, fair life (around 8K on a rear). Never upset me, no shocks or surprises.

Mine came with Michelin Pilot Roads on and I've just replaced the rear after 8,000 miles - it got a bit square trawling up and down the A1 several times ....
Lifespan is good and I've got all the confidence I need as far as grip is concerned, wet or dry.
I recommend the idea to the house.

On the 600 I have Dunlop Arrowmax which are adequate for my style of riding and seem to be reasonably long lasting.

My 900 has near new Maxxis and I found today it really handles nicely, admitedly that came as a nice surprise as I thought it would be more cumbersome than my Aprilia 1000, it is also comfy for me but yes a different sort of character.

I have used Conti Road Attacks and Conti Motions for the last few years. Excellent grip wet or dry. RA last about 5K on the back, Contimotion which I have on at the moment is at 6,500 miles, and has some life left in it. If you want to stay upright don't fit Avon Roadriders. Atb
