Depends - You need to be absolutely sure where the leak is coming from - the cylinder head or just the rocker cover? Would be nice if just the rocker cover. If there's any uncertainty, degrease it nice & clean so you can run the engine & spot the leak's starting point. If it's really the cylinder head, why is it leaking? Gasket failure, or warped head? Or just a poorly torqued head that needs re-torquing correctly? Until you know, by taking it off & checking, you won't know how much work is involved I'm afraid .

Ahh, ok thanks. I'm pretty sure its the head, as the leak is clearly starting from half way up the cylinder. I'll be hoping its just a gasket replace jobbie, as it looks like its never been taken apart (bought it off a polish lad that lives in a caravan on a farm) so fingers crossed.
