There's nothing interesting about that diesel, but there are plenty of interesting diesels about!

I know a guy who built a diesel Enfield, then rode it around the world, it was always breaking down, and wouldn't do more than 50ish without it feeling like a jack hammer, it did do 200mpg though, but only 30 miles per breakdown, it used a generator engine of Chinese origin,

He is now traveling the world by push bike,

There is a few out there using the smart car Diesel engine!
