I recently bought these on Ebay (unfortunately from China so they took ages to arrive). They aren't 9W by the way, possibly 9W equivalent. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271477702775?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT They fit really neatly into the air vents in the fairing and you only have to push them through the plastic grille and stick a large washer on the back. No drilling needed! I wired them into the sidelight cables making sure I got the right polarity, red wire to the blue/red cable. They take about 100mA total and although the photos don't really show it they're quite bright.

Looking good!
I was looking to do similar, but then decided to replaced my side light bulbs for LED bulbs, very pleased and very bright.

I have som 10w Led lights to fit my G/s, the standard light is only just over 5 inch, so it needs all the help it can get, I may have overestimated how bright it's going to be though!
