Hmm,Forecast looks possible I'm concerned about black ice on the way up but if things arn't frozen at 7am this morn I will set off This applies to me also - if it looks treacherous, i'll be bailing.

Some folks are cosy in their bunks tonight, dreaming of their breakfasts: For those heading over in the morning, have a nice ride up / down / over & we'll see you at the cafe. As with all our runs, come along if you fancy, stick in your bunks if preferred. For those venturing out, have a nice ride up / down / over. If it ain't fun, you ain't doing it right / don't do it .

Thruxton airfield and race track? Nope - write-ups for that cafe were not good!

Sorry Martin, it's a bail from me
Just been slipping about whilst walking the dog, and bin lid well stuck.
Gutted, was looking forward to blowing off the cobwebs, but can't take chances now I'm self employed.
Stay safe and have a good day
Dave

I'm going to give it a miss too, I'm afraid. Stay safe those who do ride today.

Well I took the latter of Martin's options and stayed tucked up in my own bunk, just had a peek outdoors and it's a bit slippy ot there. Stay safe all you foolish brave souls and enjoy the run, and in the words of Sgt. Phil Esterhaus...."Let's be careful out there!"

Weather is actually rather good darn sarf of Newbury. Drying roads and temperatures around 6 degrees. Was in Portsmouth last night so not looking forward to all this wild weather when we head north.
We were hoping to catch up with the runsters at the first stop but no-show by 12 so we headed home. We were amazed by the difference in weather north of Oxford. Down to 0 degrees and freezing fog. Hope all that did brave it got home safely.

Been out for a ride late morning, not as bad as I thought it would be, but was a definite no,no when I would have needed to leave at 8am. Enjoyed a couple more hours in bed Fairweather Dave
