Has anyone experienced this? Recently bled the front and rear brakes. Screws for front master cylinder were stuck so had to remove with impact screwdriver and punch. Since doing I keep getting fluid which I guess may be brake fluid deposited on fairing beneath brake lever and on fuel tank behind it. Obviously clean off as corrosive and also concerned where coming from. I have inspected and cleaned all around master cylinder and can see no leaks. Also tried tying brake lever on with cable tie. Still no leaks. Problem only occurs at speed ie cruise 70mph dual carriageway. Level in master cylinder does not drop! Suggestions? My concern is that impact hammer has caused hair line cracking in master cylinder body which only leaks under vibration?

Today i removed the master cylinder lid and thoroughly cleaned the mating surfaces and seal. Going out tonight so will see the result. Interestingly there is a small gap in the cover which i guess acts as a vent as the level drops.

Ideally on assembly air should be expelled from below the bellows, but that's easier said than done! But it's certainly a good idea to clean and dry the upper surface of the bellows, otherwise any residual brake fluid attracts moisture into that cavity.

Took the bike on a 150 mile club run today with 60 miles of fast dual carriageway. Result no further leaks. I am therefore confident problem was caused by poor sealing of the master cylinder lid or poor seating of the seal under the lid. Another issue resolved and a bit more learnt about the bike. Thank you all for the advice.
