It sounds as though the baffles in the Nexus 4-1 system are breaking down a bit. It sounds a bit more throaty than it did yesterday. I had a look at resurecting the original 4-2 system but the collector boxes are completely shagged, beyond repair.
So any recommendations? Bearing in mind the bike only cost me £800. I did see a complete SS 4-1 system on M&P for only £235 which seems remarkably cheap. Most of the downpipe (which is all I really need as the silencers are fine) on ebay seem to be almost as bad as the ones I've got.

I have some 4 into 2 downpipes by Motad lying around you would need to find a couple of slipon cans that suit or why not get one slip on to replace the nexxus can with a single slip on. I wouldn't buy Delkelvic as I am tired of dropping the exhaust to change the oil. The Sandy Bike shop stainless set up may be a better bet.

I still have the original cans. Would they fit the Motad downpipes?

Yes, I had the motad pipes on with The original cans. They are a replacement for the original downpipes. Give us a call if you want to match up the pipes to the bike.
