Bought one of these to refurb a pair of Thunderace blue spot calipers. All the pistons pushed back into their bores under thumb pressure with these seals in place. Comes with a small pot of red rubber grease and a pair of bleed nipple covers. The calipers have been in use for about a month. After a run on the bike, the brake discs are cool to the touch. Have also used Tourmax master cylinder seal kits for the Mark 1 Fazer 600 and D9 with no problem. I have used genuine Yamaha seals in the past as it gets the job done quickly without fuss, but they're pricey. The Tourmax is about half the price of the Yamaha ones.

Hmm, they don't appear to sell the front brake caliper sets for a D9?

Hmm, they don't appear to sell the front brake caliper sets for a D9? Doesn't look like it. But you can get genuine Yamaha seals only for £17.46 per caliper from wemoto.com here. I had considered buying seals from Powerhouse for the blue spots. They do a seal kit for both calipers of the D9, including the boots for the sliding pins for about £40 here. And it includes a pack of red rubber grease too .
