I'll try for pictures soon but just to gauge interest if any, for now.
Blue d6 1997/P 's' faired version with 28k on clock. Mismatched green fuel tank as replaced from another used bike some years ago. Iv had her 3-4 years. New chain and sprockets and full service in Feb this year with mot to august and tax much longer. Cosmetically tired as I don't have a garage and live by the sea but great fun to ride. Rear tyre will likely be an advisory at least at mot time and 4:1 exhaust join had crack highly technically tested with putty.
Selling as spare/repair as it let me down by cutting out on way to wales in Feb (but flew back fine...) and again traveling locally a couple of months ago. Now starts, idles and revs but cuts out after starting to ride literally a few yards. Likely a fuel issue of some sort but Im not allowed two bikes and have no time or expertise to play. Bike shop say there's nothing wrong, as have both RAC and aa men who have rescued me when cut out. A tinkerer could well get a great little bike if they can work her out. I'd rather it be sold for someone to use rather than strip her down.
Id like £500 but am realistic and happy to consider offers particularly if you'll fix her up.

I think though, that for what is effectively a non-runner with no MOT and needing a new tyre MOT you would be very lucky to get £500. Intermittent faults are the hardest to diagnose and solve and us bodgers tinkerers know it.

You're quite right, I think £300 is probably closer to the mark. Definitely one for a tinkerer, just a shame I have the technical expertise of a fish when it comes to anything remotely mechanical.
