Is there any known issues with Diversion 600 speedos or am I just looking at a knackered cable or speedo drive off the front wheel??

Probably the cable or a seized drive, if the drive is seizing you need to replace and replace the washer with the tangs in the wheel, as the drive seizing can destroy the tangs,
Speedo is not tested on a motorcycle!

I've had both on Divvys. I've had a broken cable and the cable coming unscrewed from the speedo itself. Recently the speedo drive seized up and bent the tangs on the washer. Fortunately someone at work was able to silver solder the washer back into shape but I have got a spare one sitting on the shelf just in case. Thedrive freed upp after liberal applications of WD40. Once it was free I oiled it, then packed as much grease as I could into the gaps. It's done about 6 months now troouble free.

Use white grease or red grease. I ruined a nearly new speedo drive with moly grease. It cause the nylon to swell, and melt from friction

yes,its a broken cable but I,ll get the wheel off and check the drive. We only have a small window to do the MOT and other jobs before I,m back to work. Off to order a new cable now then RALPH.
