Hi after a meeting with a duck this morning, I could do with a headlight casing assembly. The glass is ok. The impact pushed the headlamp unit inwards breaking a couple of lugs on the fairing and one lug off the headlamp unit. So I need to have the fairing lugs repaired (or try myself) and either replace the headlamp or repair the broken lug on that. Wondered if anyone has got either the whole headlamp unit or just the plastic back box of the headlight knocking about that they would like to donate or sell?
Many thanks

Booger . You can repair the broken fairing lugs using the Plastex repair kit from Repair Products. My kit arrived the next working day after payment by Recorded Delivery.

*Might* have one Brian. It was a unit that was on the bike when I bought it from Fiasco and had a European lighting arrangement in it, ie it shone t'other side of the road Passed a couple of mots with a bit of tape stuck on the glass at mot time before I swapped it for a Brit one. I'll have a shuftie through the stores and let you know. Trev. Ps, funny buggers you Lancs sorts....a meeting with a duck? Oh well, lucky it didn't quack the glass I guess....I'll get me coat.

Cheers guys. I saw a video demo using the Plastex stuff - it looks pretty good. Thanks for the offer Trev. I have bodged both the fairing and the light unit, and it seems ok. I will put it back together and see how it goes. I'll let you know if I need your unit mate. Thanks again.

No worries with the unit, it'll stay in the stores.
