Was going to do this conversion to my 1998 twin disc XJ600N as per here - www.xjrider.com/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=1645It wasnt until id nearly got everything ready to fit before it dawned upon me to check the fork size and lo and behold it will only fit a single disc 600 divvy not the later twin disc with wider forks Never gonna get back what ive paid so offering it up as a bargain for some-one with a single disc divvy who wants to upgrade to twin discs and R6 blue spot calipers. Will sell the forks, wheel, brake discs and front mudguard with brace (which i forgot to photo)& axel as a complete lot. Fork lowers have been lighty sanded on one in prep for painting, no leaks all seals good. Wheel has been repainted and new wheel bearings fitted, also fitted with nearly new tyre brake discs have been cleaned and repainted. £130 posted to mainland UK complete bleddy bargain !!!! R6 bluespot calipers, rebuilt with new seals and new pads, will fit the above forks. £70 posted to mainland UK

Why not just replace the top yoke, headstock and clamp to fit the forks?

Why not just replace the top yoke, headstock and clamp to fit the forks? More expense, plus having to track down a set of yokes for a single disc 600N, If it comes down to it i might have to go down that route. Funnily enough when i converted my 1994 600N to twin discs from a 98 model i sold my yokes, should have just put them on the shelf. Hey-ho
