Hope to make it to the north west of England but will sadly not be venturing any further north before they close the border in the Autumn.

Right chums, a wee suggestion for Fridays run up. The A82 on Loch Lomond side has a major roadworks at the Pulpit Rock. link
It can cause horrendous tail backs. Now I know you all like going through Glencoe, so my suggestion for doing that is to head for Inveraray, taking the A814 to Arrochar, then the A83, then the A819, turn east on the A85, left on the B8074 and join the A82 near Bridge of Orchy. The B8074 is single track, very scenic, but challenging for two up touring bikes. We could also include Kinlochleven. Might be worth checking it out on your route planner. For those in vans, you could leave out the B8074 and keep going east towards Tyndrum and take a left onto the A82. Another site for roadworks updates, link

looks / sounds like a good run, using local knowledge !!
what sort of milage / timings would you think Gordy? fancy a stop off at inverary, nice whisky shop there! (quite like their Loch Fyne blended) can't be getting to Fort William to early, won't be allowed in!

This weekend was supposed to be the one for run checks on Mull. Didn't happen The ferry broke down on Friday, (Lochaline - Fishnish) and the replacement is smaller, meaning a possibility of long queues. This plus the lousy forecast made Mags and me throw in the towel. So, Saturdays run could be a repeat of the Ardnamurchan and the choice of 4 routes again!

Why would you need to check routes on mull there are only 2 way to go up to Ballamory & round the top & back through the middle or Sout to Iona & then back on your self both cracking routes for the views.
