Home safely, thanks for the wun Wog. Sorry to break off early but with time ticking on and my sadnav telling me we were getting closer and closer to my home, (I'm sure it went round in circles a couple of times : , I decided to leave the runsters to their detours. These things happen on runs, ask Martin , main thing is you carried on regardless. Big thanks to all attendees, back markers, and congrats on the route Greeny Woger! See you all soon I hope. Regards, Trev (the good looking one of today ).

Another excellent weekend, glorious weather, quite a few Diversions , great to meet friends old & new & to have a hoon around some of my old stomping grounds . Special thanks to Ian, Gary & Dave for bike-borrowing, 'twas fun . My own bike saw 362 miles over the two days - I trust they were all careful ones . Nice to see the hop-alongs at the start & finish - GWS you two . Thanks for the company there & back, Dave & Andy. I hope to see you all on the next one . Pops, if you read this, know you were missed & folks were asking after you.... take care, my Cleveleys Chum.

Many thanks to Woger and accomplices.
Home at 6.45 - nice amble down the Fosse Way (remembered where that camera was!), and it didn't take much longer than the journey up this morning on the M40 etc.
Note to Martin - despite the extra-large helping of Pepsi I made it home (just) without a stop!

Debs & I made it home safely after a very enjoyable weekend
Mucho thanks to Roger and Naomi (and Pete) for hosting the mystery tour and to the back markers for doing their bit.
Hope that Trev the newbie learns from his mistake and starts the next run with more than 1/2 gallon in the tank
Thanks also to Martin, Fi and Andy for the company on the way up and hope IBS feels better soon.
See some of you up north soon

Yeah..... add my thanks to all the same suspects. And my apologies for ducking out early. I ran for home when I realised that I was unlkely to get any nearer, and everyone was stopping for fuel so it seemed an ideal opportunity 405 miles for the weekend and home by 6:00 with no motorways (although the A50 feels like a motorway by another name)
... and not a single drop of rain the whole weekend - result !!

......especially after the nice Police man pulled us over to have a chat.... Poor mirrors on that new steed? He was behind you for long enough Was pretty impressive, observing from a safe enough distance behind, to see a bike overtaking a line of cars and Mr Policeman overtaking the bike and the line of cars at the same time! Ps, did he enquire if you were part of an organised outing?

Brilliant weekend as ever, thanks Roger and Naomi Thanks also to my room buddy Martin, and to Martin, Andy, Mac and Debs for company on the journeys to and from. Thanks Debs for making sure I was well fed x Great to see everyone, and was an especially nice surprise to see Trev (TJ the original) and Sue turn up for the run. Good to see Ade and Carol at start and finish, hope the recovery continues to go well and that you will be back in the saddle soon. Was great to be back on a Divvy 600 for a YDC run, although I think the thing needs a well deserved rest after being stuffed all weekend! I did enjoy Martin's new fangled 600 on the way home, it is certainly faster and smoother than the original Here's to some great runs this year. Dave

Ps, did he enquire if you were part of an organised outing? No the mirrors and my observation are both fine, I saw the car as soon as he pulled out at which point I went into 100% good boy mode I wasn`t sure if it was a police car or not but wasn`t taking any chances. He thought that as a group we all re grouped at the roundabout and thought that was good, then some split of, I pointed out that we didn`t and were using the marker system. He also pointed out the parked lorries which he got closer to than we did and without his blues and two`s also the show up ahead which I had seen and planned to slow down long before. I also saw the heavy goods freight entrance that he pulled us up opposite then stood with his back to as the wagons pulled out of, he had more trust than I did. As we said after I think the guy was fair, but as Chris pointed out a bit miffed that he couldn`t get a read on our speed.

Many thanks to Roger and Naomi, for putting on the run, great run, somewhat tainted by being up all night inspecting the premier inn toilet, by the end of the run I was exhausted, but having come all that way, I wasn't going to miss it and duck out before the start, so sorry to those that I never got to chat to, I managed to get home by a very reasonable 10pm, though I was absolutely exhausted, still feeling the effects today, so having a nice easy day!

Thanks to Rog and Naomi for a cracking day out. Bad luck about the closed roads. At least you managed to get diversions on the run both in the route and with the bikes Great to see you all again and see you soon. Andrew

Arrived home at 4.00pm today. 600 miles covered in all. Thanks to everyone for their company, especially Rog and Naomi, the back markers and Mr Plod. Can't see what he could have done us for, but happy to get a rollocking rather than a ticket. BTW Trev - you were right about that road - brilliant!
