Hi all
Just joined the forum and after a quick look round it looks sweet - so I thought i'd pick all your brains.
Goin on a trip to France an Belgium on the Divvy and noticed some lower fairings for sale on ebay. Pyramid Plastics selling at around £200 and another guy selling at £140 ish, an they look exactly the same from the pics.
I wondered if anyone had used these, and if they are of any benefit on a long trip. Or if there are any others on sale somewhere else.
Mark

Bought and never fitted, decided to go with different engine bars (haven't fitted them either!) They will need some ingenuity to fit as the original fittings were missing when I bought them, should be simple enough though. With that in mind say £60 collected? I live just outside Birmingham.

Fairing lowers may be of use in Belgium - it's wetter there than here. But if you get good weather, trapped heat rising upwards would only make things more uncomfortable imho. The fairing's there to protect you at speed, but if you're touring you're more likely to take your time - my bike's just got a screen and I wouldn't want for anything more for touring. I keep to 80mph and below as I find it less fatiguing on longer trips. Save your cash for the excellent Belgian beer, and the wine and plat-du-jours you find in France - a much better investment.

Thanks Mate That's what i'm hoping for - some dry sun shiny weather, and tbh i've been a bit dubious about the lowers anyway just wanted someones opinion who's used them cos they're a few quid. But all in all i guess your right the money can and will be much better spent on Belgian fineries and French specialities lol :-0 :-)

Any chance you still have those lower fairings?! Think they'll fit the 600?

Any chance you still have those lower fairings?! Think they'll fit the 600? No idea if these are still for sale, but they won't fit a 600 anyway.

Having had mine on for a couple of weeks now I can say that they do keep the old legs quite a bit drier.
The biggest difference is how much more crud they keep off the engine.
