I know someone un plugged my omnimate and yep my nearly new varta is knackered will not recover even on boost so anyone got a reasonable battery for and 900divi YTX14-BS

Try dropping it from about a foot a few times onto concrete.........then try and put some charge in it - might get you mobile for now.

You can also use a proper car charger, for an hour, or if you have access shock the battery with a 24V charger, by touching the terminals for a second or two, Optmates are no good for the recovery, but I have recovered many using these methods, it works because the optimate won't even put the power in if below about 7v, whereas other less delicate chargers will, the 24v trick, desulphates the plates, in the same way as dropping the battery, but without the risk of the casing breaking!

Thanks all iv,e now got sorted ,but must just add tried the dropping thingy but wife now in A/E with fractured scull not my fault there was no concrete about your honour cheers gang see you when I get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
