OK chums, time to get organised  The JR this year, if you don't already know, is to be based at Ft. William, (by popular request  ) on the weekend, Fri 23rd - Monday 26th of May, (the Spring Bank Holiday) Saturdays run Is proposed to be a tour of the island of Mull, involving two short return ferry trips, Fishnish to Lochaline as this is a summer only route CalMac haven't published the fares yet. Last year a single fare for a car was about £24, so I reckon a bike would be about £30 return. The other ferry at Corran is less than £5 return for a bike at the moment. Sundays runIs proposed to be a skelp up to Skye I'm going to attempt a sign up sheet, but I gather it isn't as easy with Proboards as it used to be. not long now till our migration to the northern parts,,
doesn't seem to be as many as usual, signing up....
so people voted for a destination, and not attending? why???
are Bev, Wullie and N4naked attending I wonder!

I may or may not attend depending on other events outside of my control. We aren't all retirees with all the time and money to go swanning around the country at will you know. We also don't all have the luxury of observing bank holidays.  |

Willie and n4naked?  ? Ye gods, is there two of them  Mags and me will be checking the new run very soon. (Finally finished my twice weekly cardiac rehab gym sessions today, assessment next week then I'm a free man ) Maybe a new thread is needed for run up planning. |

Gordy, are you referring to the run up to Fort William on the Friday?
Ive not thought about that too much, although weather permitting I'd be up for a bit of a bimble. No point getting to Fort William too early as we wouldn't be able to get into our accommodation!!!!

Gordy, are you referring to the run up to Fort William on the Friday? Ive not thought about that too much, although weather permitting I'd be up for a bit of a bimble. No point getting to Fort William too early as we wouldn't be able to get into our accommodation!!!! Chris Yes, looks like we've quite a few travelling up together on Friday so I'll think up an entertaining route up, don't worry it'll include Glencoe! |

Yes, looks like technology has got the better of the auld yin  Incidentally I did vote for Ft Bill and may not be able to attend, I did expect to be there when I voted and I still might make it. Regardless of my attendance or not the area will be no less scenic, we didn't vote for it because it's crap then call off  |

Debs & I are leaving from Northampton at stupid-O-clock on Friday so will take the A84 through Callendar to avoid getting a puncture from all the bolts and bike parts strewn along the suggested route  |

what time does the runs on both days start, and where do they start from, I have had a quick squint, but nothing is forthcoming, probably me though?
I normally just ignore this and rely on someone telling me in the pub which I don't know which pub we are meeting either the night before!
