Hi All,
I'm not mechanically minded too much - can do the basics etc...
I Have a K reg Divvy 600. My gears have developed a problem and I wondered if anyone could give me any advice.... basically the gear lever has become really stiff - to the point where if I change from 1st to 2nd it goes in gear, but then stays stuck all the way "up, so i have to ease it down slightly in order to change up into 3rd... this is happenening in every gear on the way up and down.... any ideas?
Thanks for looking.
Lee

Sounds like the gearchange return spring is broken!

Sounds like the gearchange return spring is broken! My 1st thoughts too - but I'd check it isn't the problem Chris had 1st, as it's easiest to do 1st.

Thanks for all your replies - I'll try an oil change 1st, as it hasn't had one for quite some time

Oil change is good if it needs doing but un-seizing the gear shift shaft is more likley to fix the problem.
