D9 has been running ok' ish, but noticed a few more vibes recently, a slight hesitancy on throttle pick up and a general feeling summats was amiss. Convinced myself it was fuelling problem and set my stall out for a carb strip.
Before I started the strip I thought I'll give 'em a quick check for balance, they were miles out! Only did 'em last summer and the only thing I can think of that would alter anything in between was I replaced the throttle cables in the autumn.
Anyway, upshot is she's now purring like a kitten again and throttle response is spot on, jobs a good 'un.

I had a similar issue with my old D9 which had been unused for over a year, it used to mis-fire after it had been running for a few minutes, then ended up running on 3 cylinders. Convinced it was carbs, I ended up stripping them only to find it wasn't carbs at all, my issue was a dodgy coil.
