So almost ready to stick the air box back on so just a couple of quick questions 98 600s with electric fuel pump model
So the airbox has a drain hole, then there is a valve or the likes with a big inlet/outlet which I assume goes to the crank case then the other side of the valve has another small bore inlet/outlet ...... Where does this go ? Carb vacuum hose ? As this is not connected to anything as yet

Are you talking about the T-piece that comes off the bottom of the airbox? On my 96 600s the small side goes to the top of the rocker box if I remember right.

This is the top of the engine with the air box cruelly ripped away. That ziggy-zaggy pipe is the one I am talking about - the hither end goes onto the small side of the T-piece.

My 600 had a snapped off breather tee joint small end. I blocked that with silicone sealer and drilled a hole in the front bottom of the air box just slightly smaller than the hose and simply pushed it in. I had planned to fit a brass hose connector but never got around to it. The air box never filled with oil and the filter never got oiled. It was much easier to connect when putting the airbox back on after service jobs - a welcome bonus.
