I got some from a breaker near Upton (recommended by Soggybiker - thanks Simon) last year. I think the cost was £5 for second hand and £10 for new. He had plenty at the time.
I should be near there on the next 3 Mondays - would you like me to pop in and check current availability/ prices?

Up in sunny fife Scotland , if it's the full size ones then 5 quid second hand sounds ideal . Don't want mini aftermarket ones

The ones I got last year were proper Yamaha ones. They fit on my R850GS (which has a habit of falling over), and they are cheaper and more plentiful than kosher BMW ones, and have the advantage of flexible shafts so they hopefully won't break so easily in future drops.
I will pop in next Monday. If they are available at £5 each, would you like me to get you a set?

Hi Mick
Sorry for the delay in updating, however I got to the breakers this afternoon.
He said that brand new divvy indicators would be £10-12, secondhand in good order about £7 and S/H and a bit tatty about £5.
However, he was not sure about exactly what stock he has got. XJ600S and N front indicators have slightly shorter stalks than rears, and they all have a drain hole in the bottom. That means that all 4 indicators are different. Whilst he is confident that he has several, he does not know whether he actually has all 4 different types. Functionally, they are interchangeable from Front R - L Rear, and Front L - R Rear. You can also switch sides, if you drill a new drain hole in them.
So, let me know whether you want me to get some. If so, how many and which grade, and are you fussed about getting an exact set, or are you happy to mix and match?
I did see an FZR 1000 in his yard with a full set of identical-looking indicators, but can't be sure about whether they will be the right lengths.
I have never used Paypal - could you send a cheque in the post? No need to get the payment in advance. If it has to be Paypal, I will talk to my brother to see whether you can pay into his account.
I should be down there again next Monday, but if indicators are the last thing stopping your bike going back on the road, let me know.

OK then. I know just what it is like to be really short of cash - just heard this morning that I have a new job at last after a year unemployed/doing rubbish agency jobs. Will soon be able to afford petrol for journeys other than going to interviews.
If you are desperate for some indicators which just work to get you going until the cash becomes available, I think I have some in the garage which you can have for free. They are not proper divvy ones (pretty nasty in fact), but they do work.
