Hi all.
I've been given a set of oxford heated grips to fit to my 600. Do I need to fit a relay? Will I need a Phillips screwdriver?
Regards in advance,
Ady (Apricot)

I think the answer will depend on whether you use bike or car oil.
Hopefully, Fiasco will be along to provide advice.
Good luck.

There are circuits that should handle heated grips - I understand the feed to the rear light is particularly accessible.
Fitting a relay would be preferable though as a couple of volts seem to go missing from one end of the loom to the other.
As for the screwdriver, you'll have to check the grips. If you see a Phillips head screw, there's a pretty good bet you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver!

Regards in advance, Ady (Apricot) If you decide to fit a relay, make sure you get a male relay, if you get a female relay, they can be temperamental, only working when they feel like it, blaming you for wanting to switch it at the wrong time and not working when you fail to notice that new holder that they bought especially for you!

If she sounds a bit 'knocky' I treat her to a ten second blast of WD40 through the filler hole........ P.S Trev, how's the ferrets?
