Just noticed these two plugs have what I recon is a bridge between them but I have a 3 pin plug which doesn't plug into anything ? All wires feeding in to plug are black ........ So what am I missing ? Cheers guys Oh and it's under the seat

What's missing is an alarm - maybe Clive owned the bike before you - he likes to unplug alarms & set-to them with a hammer .

Should be ok, leave it for now and see if everything else works ok.
Don't be sad, if Martin found something like that under his seat he'd be jumping with joy thinking of all the possibilities to feck plug something else in.

Give the contacts a squirt of ACF-50 and wrap the plug with self amalgamating tape so corrosion cant get worse. Its probably not doing anything useful but things like that have a habit of turning up handy for some accessory farkle only to find they've rotted inside.
