As the title says, anyone know of an alternative that fits? Cheers Alternative rear shock absorbers are available from people like Hagon (£300) or Betor (£190) or the original unit can usually be rebuilt for around £100 from specialist companies such as www.brooksuspension.co.uk Bradford, West Yorks www.jhsracing.co.uk between Bristol and Bath www.falconshockabsorbers.co.uk Wareham, Dorset Contact them for mail order It is also possible to buy a secondhand rear shock from an XVS650 Dragstar or V-Star (same bike, different names) from the USA quite cheaply, including delivery to the UK. These are readily available for a reasonable cost and will fit straight in. A Kawasaki ER6 shock will also fit but it raises the bike by 1 1/2" to 2 " so the sidestand will not work properly. It is also necessary to use 1/2" spacers on the bottom mounting bolt as the mounting bracket on the Diversion is wider than the Kawasaki shock.
