Nothing wrong with a tent, as long as I don't have to get myself into it in the middle of the night. I was only incapacitated for 3 months after the last time.

That may well be true - but not for me - I'll B & B it I will probably B&B it as well! I just ended up booking the YHA, B&B's seemed expensive, and the YHA seemed cheap at £22 a night, I just booked the male dormitory, no separate room, it's only one night and it will be better than a tent, though I can cancel up to the 11th, so if weather is nice, I may camp at tan hill! Still I am booked!

Despite what I said earlier, I checked out the YHA anyway - and it's one of these new fangled modern ones with a resaurant an' all - not the old bunkhouse, self catering sort - So I've booked a twin room (Carol may be coming too)

Hi. Not my run, but last year we met on a little side road just off the A59 at Gisburn, opposite the junction A682. Think start time was around 10am. Hopefully Tomcat will confirm, or tell me I am completely wrong.

........ or maybe here ...... YHA @ Malham. It might be an idea for those committed to attend to consider this as overnight accommodation prior to the run. If this is acceptable, we would use the venue as our meet and departure point.

10am YHA Malham. Fuelled up ready to depart by 10:15 please. Some reflective tec vests would be appreciated and suitable volunteer. One for first portion of run and another post lunch break. The termination point this year will be at Devils Bridge, Kirby Lonsdale, allowing easy access to the M6 motorway for those travelling North or South from the meet. Members may wish to ensure they have a new air filter fitted. The volume of lycra fibres in the air around here due to the masses of tour wannabes is intense. The effect is similar to hay fever, but with greater traffic congestion.

I have vest(s) and don't mind using one.
Also, looks like I now have a spare bunk as the dolly-bird who I had lined up to share my room now says she's not coming
[Go on..... you know you want to - comment on the innuendo, that is]
