Now I know how much you like a bet and I'm not a betting man. What about it though. For this, I'm prepared to bet that Celtic will not play in the 2014 Champions League Final. Are you prepared to bet they will ? Or are you too shy to back your team ? I won't offer odds, what about a straight bet, my money against yours with a Charity as beneficiary. Stoopid boy! It's obvious Wullies reference to cl is that not so well known Cnuts League. Wouldn't surprise me if both you and Wullie put in an appearance. :-D woe, trev....watch you don't cut yourself on that razor-sharp wit of yours. i guess (down lincs way) that's what passes for repartee.....someone recently mentioned the moswar joke, i recall.

Damage ? I thought it was the vote that mattered. As I suspected, not got the spheres to back your team.

back to the west coast run, (possibly)
it seems 'likely' that JR14 is heading for west coast, looks like Oban or Fort William....
should we be looking at booking our Premierinn/travelodges for the thursday?? and trying to decide which one we should all book, or just book and be scattered like last time! kilmarnock, east Kilbride, Glasgow!!
could we tempt Al to arrange the ferry from greenock to dunoon, for the hoone up.....

I am currently looking at travelodge at Helensburgh for the thursday night,(£32) ( next door to the big yin, apparently!) and the premierinn carlisle north,(£29) for the monday night stop, as after last year intend to have a more leisurely trip up and down!! must be geting old... but 7 hours estimated running time for the whole one way trip, DOES take it out of you

Is there a venue for the run starts, or for evening entertainment ?
I only ask as Carol and I usually seem to arrange digs that are about as far away as possible from the eveing soirees resulting in long walks or big taxi fares. I'd like to try to get something a bit more local this time if possible
Whare are you staying BillyWizz ?

Ps am doubtful for it this year, partly because of the offer of hospitality tickets at WSB Donnington
