Got home just in time for the motogp . Those boys have nothing on us . Thanks for a cracking day out, Steve. I thoroughly enjoyed back-marking the first leg with Bob - then mixing it with the group for some overtaking fun for the later half . The Elan valley never dissapoints, & this year we didn't have to fight our way past ancient four-wheelers spewing oil . Thanks to my run-to-start buddies for the company this morning. Got to go some way homewards this afternoon in the company of flymo, until I got bored with his pace & hoofed it . ( I think it's run in now, matey .) Great to see you all, in such nice weather too . Hope we get another run or two in, before the January Jolly .

That was a marathon... left my mums (Dudley) this morning at 7-15am, got back home (Nottingham-ish) at 9-20pm. Cracking day weather has been great and the roads were brilliant, Loads of thanks to Steve for putting the run on, and many thanks to the various back-markers throughout the day. Good to meet friends of old... ( or should that be old friends ) along with some new (to me) faces. bah humbug, i was doing a sensible speed on the journey back to Dudley.... yeah i should say it's run in.... done 552 miles this weekend. Well if the weather keeps up i reckon another couple of days out would be nice. Flymo

Thanks Steve for organising such good roads, weather and company . Sorry I couldn't make the whole weekend (or even the whole day for that matter) but work prevented Saturday attendance and having travelled 100 miles to Crossgates and facing the same to get home it seemed prudent to cut off early (my name's not Flymo, after all). 307 miles in total today for me and another 80 or so for Eammon who also sends his thanks

Many thanks to you all, for the many miles that you travelled,. it was a long run, I clocked it at 175. Thanks to all that took turns to back mark, much appreciate.
Roger and Eammon, sorry that I did not say my goodbyes or shake your hands, my apologies.
Maybe next year it can be a two day run and have a beer or two :-)
Thanks again
Steve

John and myself arrived home today about 3.00pm. We covered some of the same roads as yesterday, but with less traffic today. Thanks go to Steve for guiding us round this spectacular area. My first visit to the area, but hopefully not my last. ATB - Great to see everyone BTW
